Keeway teases two new motorcycles in India ahead of launch tomorrow: Naked streetfighter and faired sports bike – Times of India

Keeway India has teased two new motorcycles on its official Instagram handle, confirming that a launch is set to take place tomorrow, i.e. September 15. While one motorcycle appears to be a naked streetfighter, the other is a faired sports bike. The teaser videos show only glimpses of the two motorcycles, however, a few design details are evident.
The faired motorcycle features dual LED headlamps, while the naked streetfighter gets a longish unit instead, with an H-shaped LED DRL in the middle. The latter also gets a golden USD front fork. The tail section of the naked motorcycle features the letters ‘K300’, hinting that both the bikes could be equipped with a 300 cc engine.

The two new motorcycles could actually make use of the same 298 cc twin cylinder liquid cooled SOHC engine that performs duties on the company’s V302C bobber bike. This motor puts out 29.5 hp of max power at 8500 rpm, and 26.5 Nm of torque at 6500 rpm, and is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
However, Keeway is yet to confirm the specs of either of these two new bikes. The Keeway V302C is currently priced from Rs 3.89 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, and if the two new bikes use the same engine as the bobber, they could be priced similarly as well.
Stay tuned to TOI Auto for more updates on the upcoming Keeway faired sports and naked streetfighter motorcycles.
