Royal Enfield appoints Yadvinder Singh Guleria as Chief Commercial Officer – Times of India

Royal Enfield today announced the appointment of Yadvinder Singh Guleria as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Guleria will be responsible for leading Royal Enfield’s business growth globally – across India and all international markets – and spearheading sales, marketing and aftermarket functions. In his position, Yadvinder will report to B. Govindarajan, Chief Executive Officer, Royal Enfield.
“At Royal Enfield, we are turning a new chapter in our global growth story. Our international markets have been performing extremely well, and we have invested greatly in growing our market and retail infrastructure and in people across key markets,” B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield, said.

“Yadvinder’s experience will be valuable in channeling this team’s enthusiasm and shaping future business growth for us. I am confident that under his leadership, Royal Enfield will build stronger and deeper inroads into markets around the world.”
In related news, the Chennai-based motorcycle manufacturer is lining up a number of new products based on its 350cc single to 650cc parallel-twin engine and platform. Seen testing a number of times, the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 will be the first of the lot to launch. It is expected to become the most affordable Royal Enfield in the lineup, sitting above only the older Bullet 350.
The Bullet 350 is also due an update. The new model will be powered by the same engine that powers the new Classic 350, Meteor 350 and the upcoming Hunter 350. In the ADV segment, Royal Enfield will introduce the new Himalayan 450 that could replace the current-generation Himalayan 411. Moreover, the 650cc parallel-twin from the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 will find a place on the upcoming Thunderbird 650 or Super Meteor 650.
