Royal Enfield Hunter 350 revealed! Launch on 7th August – Times of India

Royal Enfield is now just a couple of days from launching this year’s most anticipated motorcycle, the all-new Royal Enfield Hunter 350. Before we get there though, Managing Director Sid Lal decided to go viral on Instagram posting a video revealing the bike and also letting viewers listen to the exhaust note. The video comes from Bangkok, Thailand, where the first ride experience of the Hunter 350 is taking place. This means that a detailed review is about to drop at TOI Auto soon. Until then, allow us to bring you all details about the new Hunter.
The bike gets a dual-tone finish, much like the Continental GT 650 and the Scram 411. Also, it has a matte finish to it. Speaking to the media before the ride, Siddhartha Lal stated that the Hunter 350 will get the J-series engine but it will be an all-new motorcycle.
While the fuel tank has a dual-tone paint job, the rest of the motorcycle seems to be finished in all black, including the alloy wheels. Unlike most classic-styled Royal Enfield motorcycles, the Hunter 350 is completely devoid of chrome. It gets an offset instrument cluster with a small Tripper navigation pod on the right (which may be offered as an optional extra only).

The head and tail lamps are circular, as are the turn indicators. The seat is a single piece and there’s a split grab rail. The switchgear seems to be shared with larger Royal Enfield motorcycles.
The Hunter 350 will come powered by the same engine as the Meteor 350, the new Classic 350, and also the upcoming new-generation Bullet 350. It’ll be a J-series engine that makes 20.2 hp and 27 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. When launched, the Hunter 350 will up against the likes of Honda CB 350 RS and TVS Ronin. Expect prices to start at Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
