HYDERABAD: Now, customers can offer Bonam seva and Kalyanam seva at reputed temples in twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, by booking their tickets, through 547 post offices in Hyderabad region.
Bonalu festival is Telangana State’s official festival and a month-long ‘Ashadam Bonalu’ festival will be commenced on June 30 at Golconda fort and culminates on July 24. Keeping in view this, the Telangana Postal Department, joined hands with Telangana Endowments Department and made a facility for the customers.
The booking will start from June 25 in 547 Post Offices of Hyderabad Region and service can also be availed by contacting postmen/grameen dak sevaks and also online: https://eshop.tsposts.in/
To avail these sevas, customers have to pay Rs 500 to perform Kalyanam in Yellamma Pochamma Temple at Balkampet, and simultaneously, Rs 300 for Bonam seva in both Ujjaini Mahakali Temple, in Secunderabad and at Yellamma Pochamma Temple, Balkampet, according to an assistant director, postmaster general, Hyderabad Region stated in an official release on Friday, in Hyderabad.
Customers can opt to perform Kalyanam/Bonam sevas on any preferred date from June 30 to July, and would be performed by temple authorities on the dates as preferred by the devotees. Prasadam will be despatched to all the devotees from 1st August and delivered at their doorstep, said postal department official.
