Jyotsna pens a heart-touching remembering KK; says ‘Thank you for the music and legacy of kindness you have left behind’ – Times of India

The unfortunate demise of singer KK aka Krishna Kumar has left the whole nation in deep sorrow. Social media is flooded with tribute to the late singer and Malayalam TV celebs have also penned heart-touching notes for the departed soul.

Super 4 judge and singer Jyotsna has written a soul-touching note on her social media account paying tribute to the late singer.

“Incidentally, last night I had put up a post, talking about integrity. The very reason I did this is that I truly feel, it is a dying trait today. Immediately after the post was up, I came to know of this terribly shocking news. The untimely passing of one of my childhood idols. Subsequently, because it felt like a personal loss, I deleted the earlier said post as the whole music fraternity was grieving. But what I had said in that deleted post, seemed to shine through in everybody’s fondest memory of him. That he was a man of integrity.A man who valued his relationships. A man who stayed away from the rat race. And that is ultimately what he is remembered for. Not for the number of songs or the accolades he received or the car he drove. But simply for who he was. And that is man’s true legacy,” she wrote.

She also added that she is an admirer of KK since her childhood.

“I’ve never known him personally. But the way he has touched the golden years of my childhood with his voice is what drove me to put out this ode for him. Rest in Eternal Peace, legend. Thank you for the music and for the legacy of kindness you have left behind,” she added.

Here’s the post:

Along with Jyotsna, singers Rimi Tomy, KS Chithra, Sujatha Mohan, and others have also paid their tribute to KK through social media posts.
