K-pop and a Taekwondo entertains Chandigarh residents at Korean Fair – Times of India

Chandigarh residents are treated to a sliver of Korea in city as a four day Korea Fair kicked off at a mall here. With the objective of showcasing the culture of Korea to its patrons. the exhibition was inaugurated with a display of Korean martial arts in the mall premises, attracting curious shoppers to watch. The mall has collaborated with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) for this experience to the visitors till Sunday.


The exhibition was inaugurated at the atrium by Korean ambassador to India, Chang Jae-Bok along with the Korean delegation.

Over 16 companies with more than 50 brands have displayed a variety of products at the event which attracted shoppers of all ages. The products include jewellery, cosmetics, stationary, clothes, beauty products, snacks, and electronic products like water purifiers etc.


One of the highlights of this inaugural event was the special performances by K-pop and a a group of Taekwondo performers that was well received by the viewers and enthralled the residents with this unique display.
