The vivo sub-brand iQOO is preparing a new Z6 smartphone for the domestic audience, and this one will have 80W fast charging. The feature is not new for the company but will be the first Z phone, suggesting a flagship-tier chipset.
The render showcases a triple camera arrangement similar to the iQOO Z6 44W but the LED flash positioning reveals it might not be the same body with the new charging and chip. Speaking of the SoC, vivo has 9 phones with its fastest 80W FlashCharge standard, and only three of them are part of the iQOO brand from the Neo6 family.
The question is what this new phone will be called and should we expect more than one since a series is being introduced. The iQOO Z6 and iQOO Z6 Pro are already available outside China, and there’s also an iQOO Z6 44W, but none of them are sold at home – vivo China is still at iQOO Z5 levels with the Z5x being the latest.
We hope the mystery will be unraveled in the next three days, leading to the launch event.
