Raj Singh Arora wrote, “Just imagine how quickly people assumed that an actor like #JohnnyDepp was guilty in this new cancel culture world. Films dropped him and brands let go of him with any fact. Huge respect to @dior for being the single big brand for not jumping the gun and the justice system for showing the truth about the man and the artist.”
Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 fame Varun Sood also reacted on twitter writing, “Yup” with an image showing Depp’s win.

Jury members found Depp should be awarded $15 million in damages, while Heard should receive $2 million.
After a six-week trial, the jury has decided that Amber defamed Johnny with actual malice in the 2018 op-ed in The Washington Post. Post win, Johnny released a statement on social media. It read:
For the unversed, Depp sued Heard for libel in Fairfax County Circuit Court over a December 2018 op-ed she wrote in The Washington Post describing herself as “a public figure representing domestic abuse.” Johnny’s lawyers said he was defamed by the article even though it never mentioned his name.
