wala: Two men arrested from Haryana in Moose Wala case | India News – Times of India

FATEHABAD/ BATHINDA: Punjab police on Friday arrested a resident of Haryana’s Fatehabad district and picked up his aide for questioning in connection with an old murder case in Punjab’s Moga district. The two accused, Pawan Bishnoi and Naseeb, both residents of Bhirdana village of Fatehabad, will be questioned in the Sidhu Moose Wala murder case too.
The police also identified the Mahindra Bolero, which was used by unidentified assailants in the murder of Sidhu Moose Wala in Mansa district on May 29, at Bhirdana village in Fatehabad. Three teams of Punjab police had been camping in Fatehabad for the last two days to procure details like CDR dumps as well as CCTV footage of the route which Moose Wala’s assailants could have followed.
Fatehabad SSP Surender Singh Bhoria confirmed the development, saying the duo had been picked in a joint operation by the Fatehabad police and Punjab police. “We have assured total cooperation and support to Punjab police as Mansa is our neighboring district, and we share information quite often,” Bhoria added.
Moga SSP Gulneet Singh Khurana, when contacted confirmed that two persons had been arrested and were presented in the court, which sent them to 3-day police remand.
